What customers say?

“ If you’re in the area, or not, definitely go check out Ronny’s!! The food and service are excellent, and if you like seeing/hearing trains (or have a kiddo that does) the railway being right across the street is a bonus! We had a kids croffle, an original breakfast, and the croissant sandwich. Portions were great, coffee was delicious, and the hash browns were nice and crispy. ”

“ Ronny's is literally the definition of a hidden gem. You have to check it out if you're in the area. The portions are huge, the price is right, the service is friendly and the flavours are on point. Their sandwiches all look so good. Each sandwich is defined by their buns, and also their fixings. I had the Ronny burger that came with a pretzel bun, but I saw the panino walk past me and it was served with beautifully thick cut grilled toast. I'm disappointed that I only had room for one main item. Our waitresses were super attentive with us as well, making sure my coffee cup was always full. Seating is pretty tight at Ronny's. Tables are best suited for groups of 4, with a couple of spots suited for tables up to 6. Parking is plentiful. No real dress code. All you need is an empty stomach before you arrive. ”

“ We had brunch today at a cozy Italian restaurant, and it was such a pleasant surprise. While we haven't had Italian breakfast, the food here was really good. It wasn't necessarily gourmet like the croissant seemed store-bought, but it was prepared with care and served beautifully. The taste was amazing for what we paid. The ambiance, especially on their cozy patio, had a nice local vibe, and it was kid-friendly too. We'd definitely love to come back to try their authentic Italian dishes, especially since the owner is actually Italian and was in Italy when we visite; so I imagine the full menu is even more authentic. Overall, a charming spot with a friendly atmosphere, and we look forward to returning! ”

“ This place is a true hidden gem and definitely off the beaten path. Located on River Road in Maple Ridge in an industrial area amongst all the heavy machine shops and next to a lumber mill, it's worth the trip down there! The place does have an old school diner feel but the menu has way more than a typical diner. There are the usual sandwiches and burgers, but they also have italian food made with fresh pasta (they have small bags of it with sauces for sale in a fridge on the way out). Prices are pretty reasonable. Some eclectic decor collected over the years and a huge Harley Davidson wall. Service is super friendly. We got there mid-morning around 10:30am on Friday so didn't have a problem with getting a table. I could imagine at lunch or dinner rush or on weekends for brunch it could be tight. Lots of seating inside and there is a small covered patio area outside (if you want to bring your furry friends). Tough choice deciding between breakfast and lunch (which they serve starting at 9am). Got the chicken parm sandwich with their soup of the day, borscht, and the rise and shine sandwich with pastrami and fruit bowl. The sandwiches were huge! The sourdough they use is organic and freshly baked (by someone else). Each sandwich was delicious with nice fresh veggies. Chicken was moist and nicely breaded and crispy. Pastrami and eggs were surprisingly a good combo, very flavourful. The star of the meal was the soup. The borscht was their soup of the day and tasted amazing with all organic veggies and a rich broth (they also have tubs of it for sale to bring home). We were full but wanted to try some dessert, so got a tiramisu to go. Delicious! Very creamy and could taste the coffee and chocolate flavors. Will have to go back and try some of their homemade pasta as it looks amazing. ”

“ Omg, we found this little Bistro which is open 7 days a week. The food is good and the pricing is wonderful. I had the Italian clubhouse and my husband had the breakfast and everything was delicious. We will be back. ”

“ Ronny's bistro is fantastic, food is fresh and very good. My mom was the first to try this place and told me how good it was so I had to go see for myself. Ronny's bistro is definitely in a strange part of maple ridge for a restaurant and parking isn't the best but the food definitely makes up for it. I ordered the Holla Hotpot bowl and it was delicious. 10/10 ”

“ I had been wanting to go to Ronny’s Bistro for a while from all the good things I heard from reviews. When I came on a Sunday, I received a table upon arrival. The establishment had an excellent aesthetic with its biker-hangout theme. The interior was decorated with lots of funny plaques, old portraits and some nice traditional furniture. I ordered the Beef Pastrami Benedict with coffee. Now the coffee was okay, however it gave me no reason to ask for more. The benedict was great with the pastrami being very succulent in flavour with the mozzarella having a nice, melted consistency on it. The hollandaise sauce was good and helped complete the meal. The hashbrowns that came with them were solid good, as they were crunchy and had the right amount of seasoning on them. The second time I came, I ordered the daily special that was the Risotto Allo Zafferano Con Spalla Di Maiale with a Cappuccino. The entrée came with garlic bread that was very good. The risotto had so much flavour in it, thanks to the Grana Padano cheese and gravy included. The shoulder pork was very succulent, tasty and cooked to perfection. The Cappuccino was better than the coffee I had before. The service was great and tended to me as often as possible. They even asked if I wanted my eggs benedict with scrambled eggs and I said yes. Overall, I love going to Ronny’s Bistro for their unique menu choices and debonaire countenance of the restaurant. I would recommend this place to everyone who enjoys Breakfast and Italian food. ”

“ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Total hidden gem! Stumbled across this bistro on Google Maps while killing time between hockey drop-off and puck drop. Ended up pleasantly shocked — food was way better than expected! Cozy vibe, great service, and a menu long enough to keep any hockey parent occupied while waiting for game start. Highly recommend for anyone needing to burn an hour before the next game! ”
